James
J. Lynch, partner, was born in Mineola, New York
in 1941. Mr. Lynch graduated from St. John’s University with a
BA in 1963. After graduating from St. John’s Law School with a
JD in 1966, Mr. Lynch joined the United States Department of Justice
in the Federal
Bureau of Investigation from 1966 to 1970. In 1970,
he entered private practice, joining the firm of Frank and E. George
Lawkins. In 1971
the firm became Lawkins & Lynch, and in 1985 Mr. Lynch became a
sole practitioner. Mr. Lynch later formed Lynch Legal
Associates, LLP.
Mr.
Lynch is admitted to practice in New York State, the United States
District Court’s Eastern District, and the United States Tax
Court. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Nassau
County Bar Association, and the Brooklyn Bar Association. Mr. Lynch
concentrates in estate planning, Surrogate’s practice, elder
law, taxation, real estate, commercial litigation and firematic practice.
He has been awarded an “AV” rating by the Martindale-Hubbell
Law Directory.
